Does the iGlow lash and brow serums contain prostaglandins? - iGlow Cosmetics

Does the iGlow lash and brow serums contain prostaglandins?

We receive a lot of questions about our lash and brow serums, as well as their key ingredients.

There's a lot of disinformation about certain ingredients, so below is a video with Dr. Christina McDonnell, explaining a bit of the science behind the serums. She is also sharing a few facts about the active ingredients, such as isopropyl cloprostenate (IC).

IC is a synthetic prostaglandin analog, which means it is a chemical compound that mimics certain properties of natural prostaglandins.

Although IC belongs to the same chemical family as prostaglandins, it is specifically developed for cosmetic use and not as a treatment for medical conditions.

SAFE TO USE

Like all of our products, our serum formulas comply with EU cosmetic legislation and safety regulations for cosmetic use.

Within the EU, IC is approved for use in cosmetic products, and they have undergone assessment for safety and effectiveness. The iGlow formula is also tested for safety and effectiveness through dermatological and ophthalmological tests.

We always aim to provide products that deliver the best results, which is why we include IC in our formulation. The ingredient plays an active role in prolonging the growth phase of the lash / brow cycle, resulting in longer, healthier looking lashes and brows.

CORRECT USE IS IMPORTANT

The iGlow serums are quite potent serums, so it's important to follow the instructions and don't apply more than recommended.

One thin coat per day, just above your lash line, on clean and dry skin, is plenty.

The serum increases the bloodstream to the area which it is applied, to stimulate your hair follicles. Should you experience any redness, it's usually because too much has been applied.

MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

We always recommend to do a patch test on the thin skin on your arm, to see if you get a reaction. Should you get a reaction of some kind, even though you're using the serum correctly, you can reach out and return the serum to us, and we will of course issue a full refund.

Our main goal is always that you'll be a happy customer who got your money's worth!
